  What kind of video games do you play?

  i play pc games for the most part.

  i'm still in the old counter-strike mode.

  but i also like to play unreal tournament 2003 and 2004. i also like battlefield 1942/vietnam and farcry.. i would recommend the athlon 64 or fx(if you gots lots of cash) series from amd over a pentium, since they run 32 stuff fast now and can do 64 bit when the production version is released.

  My 13 year old grandson beat FFX and is close to beating FFX2...So is this grown-up games?...

  He enjoyed reading the posts though...

  I guess he is pretty smart huh?

  has anyone seen an article lately about a court case involving a jw and a dr?..they supposedly won a lot!...

  my daughter in law heard about it on the news..but couldn't remember all the details.... .

  Thank you so much!..

  From what I have heard in Missouri..you can have 'Bloodless Surgery" but the Drs. are usually ones that have been sued before for malpractice or aren't very good Drs to start with.

  When I was a witness ..I was referred to a Dr that "Respected" the JW view on blood. Well..after I let him operate on me (with many complications.).I found out his nickname was "Dr Butcher"..

  I think all his patients were Jw's..no one else would go to him...

  My Thoughts.......

  think about this.........23,720 innocent little lambs, those that are jesus' precious lambs......have been sexually abused and mistreated.. that is a shocking number isn't it, considering the watchtower claims to be the only religion approved by god himself!

  it is appalling to say the least!

  besides that, the mere fact that it took one unsuspecting person to stumble onto and "uncover" this filthy secret file and expose it....is disturbing.

  When they showed the Dateline show..my JW MIL wanted to see it since I had copied it.

  I waited until a convenient time to bring it up and asked her what she thought.

  Her only response was to say to her JW son..(Not me)..if he knew any JW pedophiles?..and then she commented..she didn't either..so that seemed to settle that!..

  Since they didn't claim to know any..the case was closed and the story was a fraud!

  But I can remember back when I first started studying. She made sure I got every copy of life magazine that was about the Catholic church..and how the nuns were secretly having babies by the priests and they would abort them and bury them in the courtyards.

  And yet..one sentence was all she could manage about JW's doing something just as bad if not more dispicable.

  Texas Panhandle

  we have received copious amounts of rain here in the panhandle, west texas and eastern new mexico, too much in some areas.

  the point of all of this is this may be a good year for wildflowers.

  we get them by the millions in a good wet year, but this being a semi arid region that doesn't always happen.

  Another thing the Texas Panhandle has is something called "Stink weed..or Skunk weed..?

  Each end grows into the dirt forming a loop. When you trip on it you get an odor exactly like a Skunk...

  We tripped on several...Kids thought it was a hoot...

  Crybaby..or something else.......

  my grand-daughter is 12 years old.

  she attends a catholic school..always has.

  her mom takes her and her 13 year old brother and picks them up everyday.. well..in the past she has started crying when her mom pulls up to school.

  Thank you all for your answers..Believe it or not I shared the replies with my granddaughter. She liked them.

  She insists there is no bully..but she hasn't gone to school yet this week..She went 2 half days last week... She did go to a psyciatrist last week.He .gave her anxiety pills..but she still cried this morning..

  I hope she isn't acting..but how can you tell?

  It really upsets her Mom..I am glad I am visiting for a few days to take some of the stress off..

  The psychiatrist did say for her to call if things don't change..Duh..

  I think a psycologist would be better..they discuss more and ask questions that make you think..

  She has involved the school. Talking with the principal and teachers..

  My daughter just got off the phone with the teacher..

  It is a very very small Catholic school.

  Maybe she is just bored to death!!!...
